Anne Shaw Heinrich serves the ISP with more than 35 years of experience in marketing, communications and development. She has partnered as a communications leader for a number of nonprofit organizations and corporations, including Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri, The Oasis Institute, City Academy, Fontbonne University, Edward Jones, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Reliv International and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Anne’s career began as a reporter and lifestyle editor for the Hinsdale Doings Newspapers in suburban Chicago, where she had the opportunity to interview opera great Beverly Sills, movie critic Gene Siskel, folk singer Judy Collins and movie legend Debbie Reynolds. A former columnist, Anne’s essays have been published in the Marlo Thomas New York Times Bestseller The Right Words at the Right Time Volume 2: Your Turn (Atria Books/Simon and Schuster 2008) and Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Cancer Book: 101 Stories of Courage, Support and Love (2011). Anne’s first novel, God Bless the Child, was released in June 2024 by Speaking Volumes. It is the first in a three-book series The Women of Paradise County. Book Two, Violet is Blue, releases June 2025. She has been published recently in Writer’s Digest, Ms. Magazine and Education Week.
