Jennifer supports the data collection, evaluation, and research dissemination goals and objectives of programs at the Institute for School Partnership (ISP). She believes deeply in the transformational power of education and the importance of schools in our region to continue building their capacity to provide equitable access to engaging, high quality STEM instruction, and to produce equitable outcomes for all students.

Prior to joining the ISP, Jennifer worked as an educator in the St. Louis area teaching middle and high school social studies. She holds a B. A. in History (Washington University in St. Louis), a M. A. in Rehabilitation Counseling (Maryville University), and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (University of Kentucky). Her research interests focus on the development of student academic motivation and competency beliefs, student academic achievement in the context of racial/ethnic identity development, the role of self-regulation and emotions in student learning, and measurement construction/validation.
