You may use any additional materials you can fi nd at home to enhance your creation. Your goal is to construct a musical instrument that actually works. Yours might look different than a traditional instrument, and that’s okay!

Sound is energy. Sound is created by energy moving backwards and forward, like the vibration on a guitar’s string or the pounding of a drum.
Instructions
Collect materials from around your house to create a musical instrument. When looking for materials to use, think about what sounds you want to create. Do you want to build an instrument that creates a loud sound, or a soft sound? Draw out your plan and start building!
