Inspiring the next generation of scientists.
mySci is changing the face of science education in the region and beyond. Our partnerships with St. Louis area schools are turning classrooms into learning labs, and closing the opportunity gap for tens of thousands of students.
A comprehensive, high-quality, kit-based program, mySci consists of units that can be taught in any order across grades K-8. Centered around solving real-world problems through experiential learning and critical thinking, mySci directly supports teachers through a variety of professional learning opportunities and instructional materials designed to engage all students in science learning.
The mySci curriculum is arranged by grade level and core science area. The program encourages and models best practices and instruction, with lessons that are phenomena-based and designed using the 5E Instructional Model of Inquiry (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate), shifting the purpose of learning science from “learning about” to “figuring out.”
