The ISP Educator Showcase is the culmination of a year-long practitioner research program that prepares educators to be thought leaders, knowledge producers, and change agents in their schools and districts.

Each fall, educators from the St. Louis region work with ISP researchers and instructional specialists to identify  problems of practice and promising innovations. Drawing on research-based practices, structured data collection, and their own professional knowledge and experience, Showcase educators then test ideas and refine their approaches in ongoing inquiry cycles. Whether they are evaluating a curriculum resource, trying a new instructional approach, or solving a persistent classroom problem, Showcase educators build knowledge about what works best in PK-12 education.

At the annual Showcase event, participants present their research to an audience of teachers, coaches, administrators, researchers, and community members. Together, they model a vision of education reform that honors educators as professionals, elevates their voices as knowledge producers, and builds the kind of understanding that leads to better schools for all students.
