ASSET
The ISP proudly partners to support Advancing Secondary Science Education through Tetrahymena (ASSET), a science education outreach program that transitioned from Cornell University to Washington University in St. Louis in 2023. ASSET offers a variety of modular science education materials designed to stimulate hands-on, inquiry-based learning of fundamental biological concepts for all grade levels.
Math314
Math314 supports teachers in becoming learners and leaders who encourage inquiry, risk-taking and conceptual understanding by experiencing mathematics in rich and meaningful ways.
mySci
A comprehensive, high-quality, kit-based program for K-8 classrooms, mySci directly supports teachers with professional learning and instructional materials that are centered around solving real-world problems through experiential learning and critical thinking.
Sci314
Sci314 provides a flexible array of professional learning formats that help science educators and administrators to deliberately practice and reflect on instructional strategies that increase positive science identities and outcomes.
STEM Integration
STEM Integration is designed to foster school wide adoption of practices and systems that support equity-centered STEM learning for teachers and students. The Initiative is place-based, innovative, and provides immersive coaching and support to refine and enhance district curriculum and instruction. STEM Integration cohortsl experience a summer workshop, one-to-one coaching throughout the academic year, quarterly site visits to corporate STEM pipeline partners, and Novel Engineering training.
Summer Teacher Researcher
The Summer Teacher Researcher Program is one of the many ways that the ISP provides campus-wide support for WashU faculty to develop partnership and outreach opportunities with St. Louis-area schools.
Millipore Sigma Curiosity Labs
The ISP proudly partners with MilliporeSigma to develop Curiosity Labs™. These science lessons are shared to inspire budding scientists in 25 countries. ISP’s team helps to ensure that the lessons are updated on a continual basis and aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
